Mountain tortoise comes out of its shell

All the troubles I have faced in my life so far have been contributed by myself and myself only. I do not want to blame others for my demise. I have realised that I had been a major contributor to my own downfall for far too long.

I am hereby removing my ex girlfriend of any wrong doing and to also clear her name. She is not at fault for my undoing. We have had our problems (which relationship doesn't?) and due to my inability to handle the situation well and my concurrent immaturity in life, I had not been very appreciative of her and her actions. I was always suspicious and insecure causing a lot of rifts and petty quarrels to break out between us. Now we are just friends and she has stood by me and is still trying to change me to a better person. Hats off to her. Also, I would like to say a big thank you to Ramesh and Candy, for being the nicest and bestest of buddies in troubled times and heeding my call for help and being there for me when I needed them the most.

I am taking responsibility and am taking swift and necessary steps to ensure a change of character, a change of attitude, a change in personality and a change in mindset to enable me to face the world with self-confidence, tactfulness and intelligence.

The tortoise has come out of its shell and has felt the first drops of rain, sunshine and obstacles in its path. It has also come face to face with its predators and has had many bruises from the confrontations. The tortoise has come of age and is equipped with the knowledge and the skills to face the reality of the world today without having to hide back in its shell. Maybe the tortoise will shake its shell off and run wild and free and make up for lost time in the not too distant future. Beware the NEW tortoise. :P
