Hi all,
I had been out of action for quite some time due to my school work and stuff.
Its been a hectic and stressful week but I managed to pull through with "minor injuries".
Anyway, the purpose of today's post is to say a prayer to and for the world.
The prayer is known as the serenity prayer by Reinhold Neibuhr during a 1950's mass in Germany.
I would also like to say this prayer in a modern way via the internet and bless mankind.
It doesn't matter what religion you belong to, what race you may be, what belief you hold; this prayer is for you and me.
Here goes:
GOD, grant me the
Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change
Courage
to change the
things I can
and the
Wisdom
to know the difference.
Living ONE DAY AT A TIME;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as the
pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this
sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make
all things right if I
surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy
in this life, and supremely
happy with Him forever in
the next.
Amen
God bless you all abundantly. God is also known as Allah for the muslims, Shen 神 for the Chinese, Bhagavan for the Hindus, Satnam for the Sikhs, Yahweh for the Jews and Christians, etc...
As we all can see, there is ONLY ONE God but has many different names due to different races, languages and religious beliefs.
Let us all embrace the GOD that we know of and pray for peace and happiness for mankind.
Thank you all for reading.
Cheers!!
